A message from Toni Romano:

In my new role of National Outreach Facilitator please join me with gratitude for the Member Gatherings that have been held in the Mid Atlantic Region this fall. A synopsis of each visit is included for your information.

September 29 I attended the HQ Field Program in Philadelphia with Barbara Lane, speaker, hosted by Pat Bernasconi, Program Facilitator. There were 58 in attendance. I was available at the breaks and lunch hour to answer questions and provide information. 12-15 people are interested either in joining a study group or having more local activities sponsored by A.R.E. Carolyn Gelone has volunteered to assist in exploring where study groups may be started, and with the help of others, create opportunities for seekers to gather for fellowship, sharing and working with the Cayce material.

October 20 I spoke on Living the Good Life with the Cayce Principles at the montly meeting in Richmond, VA. 10 people were in attendance. Pat Linden is interested in starting a SFG study group after the first of the year. Sandy Farmer hosted the meeting. Louise Fletcher, who usually hosts the meeting is recuperating from a broken leg. She has asked for help in lining up speakers for 2008.

November 10 we held a Member Gathering at the Ocean Pines Library on the Eastern Shore, MD. 12 people attended. There is potential for a new SFG study group to form. Jackie Cox hosts a SFG meeting in Salisbury and invited people in her area to join the group. Considerable interest was shown to have local programs occasionally in the area. Brooke Good will serve as my contact for the time being.

November 11 a Member Gathering was held at the Bear Library in Bear, DE. 11 people were in attendance. There is a lot of interest in starting study groups from this meeting. Barbara Keesey has volunteered to be the Delaware Coordinator. She is already researching places to hold programs in 2008 and has created an email group to provide an avenue for continued communication about opportunities in the area.

A Mid Atlantic Region Newsletter will be sent early in 2008 listing all the groups, programs, retreats and activities sponsored by ARE Headquarters, Mid Atlantic Regioin, and Area and Retreat Teams. Please get your announcements to Toni Romano by December 3rd. The Mid Atlantic Region is alive and well.
